Greetings ladies and egos, welcome to The Patriots Cave, the only website on record to have successfully stapled a piece of bologne to it's chest. I am Joel the K. And I am surprised. Why am I surprised? I am surprised Jeff Grupp responded to The Patriots Cave's post regarding Grupp's accusations against His Holiness, The Dali Lama. Here is the link to Patriot Cave's article: http://www.thepatriotscave.com/2010/04/jeffrey-grupp-was-wrong-about-his.html Here is the link to Jeff Grupp's YouTube video response: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fDHSrL3I4TA It is a 4 part video response. I hope you will listen to them. The Patriots Cave thanks Professor Grupp for taking the time to address us. This is one of those rare occasions when a big time website/radio show condescends to engage a small, humble website/radio show caller. To Jeff Grupp I say "Bravo Jeffrey. Well done." Now for The Patriot Cave's official response to Jeff Grupp's videos: Grupp got my handle right, but not my website. This was disappointing, especially for a small website who works very hard to attract more readers, in order to stimulate and provoke thought in ever greater numbers of souls. Nevertheless, Grupp was under no obligation to do any of this, so I should be happy he got my name right. Grupp begins the video response by playing a clip of himself talking about His Holiness, The Dali Lama. This is Grupp's signature move. He often uses his own past clips in support of whatever point he is trying to make at the moment. I don't blame Grupp for doing this, but I do think he will lose credibility if he continues to resort to this pattern. If I am trying to convince you of something, for example let us use something generic such as X=9. Okay, I am wanting to prove to you that X=9. So I play a clip of myself from a past show saying X=9. Then I come back from the clip and say "see, X=9". Once in awhile is cool, but Grupp overplays this in my opinion. In the case of his Dali Lama/Joel the K video, he played a clip of him playing a clip of him on another show. It's a feedback loop. After awhile feedback begins to take on a quality akin to noise. Regardless, Grupp presents his evidence again using the patented clip maneuver, which is rapidly becoming famous. God love him. After the clip, Grupp comes back to the future and into real time. He then absolutely shreds one of my points about college kids wanting the truth. When he was done, that particular part of my argument had more holes in it than the guy walking in front of Dick Cheney during a duck hunt. Gawd. Mucho take it easy Grupp. Man bro, I knew you could swing the saber and all but next time how'bout an "on guard!" before lopping my head off! Okay. I picked my poor head up from the ground, and have reconnected most of the important circuits and connections. Whew! Another thing I did notice was quite subtle. Grupp used an awkward rhythm and monotone voice whenever he would read my points verbatim. This made it sound like he was scratching his head, trying to figure out what the dumb ape had scratched onto a rock. Come on man, my writing isn't THAT bad. But, no,no, I'm still greatful you took time and made this reply, so don't get me wrong. Just saying. I'm not going to repeat the entire 4 part video brethren and sistren. The links are there for you to watch and listen for yourself. I do want to point out a few more subtleties though. I thought Grupp should have conceded on the point about "real" Buddhism. There are many branches of Buddhism. "Real" is subjective. Tantric Buddhism is very different from Zen Buddhism, but to suggest that Tantric Tibetan Buddhism is something less than real is in my opinion a rather hasty call. What about the countless enlightened beings, who reached enlightenment via the path of Tibetan Buddhism? The same path His Holiness walks. I realize all paths can be poked at from an outsider, but Grupp is better than that. I don't understand why he hardened up on this point. Another thing is Grupp's point about how the media is pushing The Dali Lama. Grupp mentioned billboards. I have not seen any such billboards. I know Grupp has one near where he lives, but I have not seen any. I do know that His Holiness is scheduled to speak in the same state where Grupp lives, either this month or next month. So if His Holiness is coming through that area on a speaking tour, it would make sense that there would be billboards about Him. One more thing. Grupp failed to mention my final point regarding Telementation. I'm not blaming him for missing it, he probably hardly had time to address the points he did. So I'm not saying he dodged my point on purpose. I'm just saying that I would really like to hear the answer to it from Grupp himself. The point I'm talking about is what effect is Jeff Grupp having on the world by boldly stating how the Illuminati dark masters shall rule over civilization for the next 1,000 years. Is he not helping those dark masters? And each person he convinces will become an amplifier, reinforcing the intentions of the dark masters? What about the equal and opposite reaction? What about the Bright Masters? The Masters of Light? Where do they fit in this equation? Do not they also use eastern religion to advance the forces of Truth and Light? And Western religion as well? In conclusion, The Patriots Cave would like to again thank Professor Jeffrey Grupp for being a great sport, and playing along with the ridiculous shannanigans of one Joel the K. You can find Jeff Grupp at his website http://www.antimatterradio.com/ , watch for him at http://www.exiledbroadcasting.com/.
For The Patriots Cave this is Joel the K, over and out.
